Monte Albán – Atzompa trails & Secret waterfall

We will meet at bike flow to present the team and jump to the ven that will shuttle you until we reach the top of the ruins of Monte Albán which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once at the top we will have the oportinity to take a private tour with our friend Jose which is a certified INAH guide and where you will able to admire the beautiful landscape and the remains as also learn about an ancient culture that is still very alive in Oaxaca.

After visiting the ruins we will start our first descend though dirt trails of medium/Advanced difficulty (Fast sections, loose rocks and thecnnical sections) riding though agaves and trees until we reach the middle of our route in a local store where we can resupply ourselves with water and food, this descends will take us 30minutes approximately. Once we reach a the local store we can choose to climb 200mts on road (Or if preferred get a shuttle) to the top of Atzompa mountain where we will take more intermediate/Advanced trails that will leads us to the countryside of Oaxaca and that, from there to until our finish point, we will have a fun Gravel trail that will lead to “Jalapilla Ecotourism Center” where our ride will end not before having an delicious breakfast. After this, we will jump again to the van and return to Oaxaca City.
